- The Intercom Control Unit (ICU), developed to meet SOF warfighter requirements, provides each occupant in the vehicle with:
- All intercom and radio controls placed for soldiers’ optimal accessibility
- Intercom push-to-talk (A),
- Radio push-to transmit (B)
- Individual warfighter “listen” volume control with guard (C)
- A small assembly that fits comfortably in a gloved hand.
- A self-closing, headset jack cover and a rubber-toothed clothing clip enhanced the in-theatre operational reliability and ease-of-use for the warfighter.
