The ICRI is a rapidly deployable solution that ensures that military personnel, federal homeland sercuity personnel, and first responders can communicate with one another at an incident--despite having otherwise incompatible radios.

The physically small (versions as small as 1” x 9” x 7”), rugged ICRI was developed and is made in the USA by a small veteran-owned business.

Setting up all versions of the ICRI requires only moments with minimal familiarization, It operates for 30 hours on 8 "AA" batteries, yet capable of "patching" military radio, commercial radio, land-line/cell/ satellite telephones.

The ICRI is also a valuable tool to enhance the range of their radio in buildings and in below grade operations.

The COTS/NDI ICRI is ready for fielding now, at a cost of under $10,000 (GSA Contract # GS-07F-0653N).

ICRI/WP (3.0 lbs, internal/rechargeable batteries or external DC) shown providing a link for TYPE 3 communications:

  • SINCGARS
  • XTS-5000 (digital)
  • ICOM F43G squad radio (analog)
